Lake Rotoroa

Lake Rotoroa in Nelson Lakes National Park is famous for its trout, large eels, vicious sand flies and spectacular beech forest. My recent trip to the head of the lake lived up to my expectations completely with great trout fishing up the D’urville river and some stunning scenes up the Sabine river.
